Net providers begin warning of illegal downloads

WASHINGTON (AP) — Internet users who illegally share music, movies or television shows online could soon receive warning notices from the nation's five major Internet service providers.

The Copyright Alert System, organized by the recording and film industry, is being activated this week to target consumers using peer-to-peer software.

Under the new system, complaints will prompt an Internet service provider — such as Verizon or AT-and-T — to notify a customer whose Internet address has been detected sharing files illegally. A person will be given up to six opportunities to stop before the Internet provider will take more drastic steps, such as temporarily slowing their connection, or redirecting Internet traffic until they acknowledge they received a notice or review educational materials about copyright law.

Consumers who maintain they have been wrongly accused would be forced to pay $35 to appeal the decision. The fee would be reimbursed if they prevail.

Proponents say the focus is on deterring the average consumer rather than chronic violators. The director of the organization behind the system, Jill Lesser of the Center for Copyright Infringement, said in a blog post Monday that the program is "meant to educate rather than punish, and direct (users) to legal alternatives."

Each Internet provider is expected to implement their own system. The program gives each customer five or six "strikes" after a music or film company has detected illegal file-sharing and lodged a complaint. The first alerts are expected to be educational, while the third and fourth would require the customer to acknowledge that they have received the warnings and understand their behavior is illegal. The final warnings are expected to lead to "mitigation measures," such as slowing a person's Internet connection speeds.

Officials involved in the effort acknowledge it's unlikely to stop the biggest violators. There are ways to disguise an IP address or use a neighbor's connection that is unlocked. Public wireless connections, such as those offered at coffee shops, also won't be monitored.

5 Reasons Sex ‘Sells’ on YouTube [NSFW VIDEOS]

Posted by Jeff Klima
sex 1 5 Reasons Sex Sells on YouTube [NSFW VIDEOS]

Sexuality on YouTube is a fascinating dichotomy: On the one hand, there is no nudity, and I know this. It is at best a tease and at worst a bullshit thumbnail used to lure me in to watch some asshole that isn’t a nearly-naked girl. On the other hand, I click anyway.
But knowing that there is no nudity on YouTube has me wondering how come implied video sex is such a big commodity? If I want porn, I can get porn (that’s right, ladies, I’m what you call “sans parents”), and yet, clearly when I (and every other red-blooded male) jump in on Melanie Iglesias’ channel I am filling a prurient need. But just what the hell is that need, and why am I a slave to it?
Being the analytical sort (and just desperate to write anything pertaining to boobs that I can) I have come up with the 5 REASONS SEX SELLS ON YOUTUBE! (for impact, imagine God yelling that title at you).

5. The “Denial” Rationale

Probably the most basic reason behind the cipher that is why people click on “sexy YouTube videos” is because we all experience the same self-denial that “This might be it! This might be the one where she says ‘fuck it’ and shows off the goods?!” Reply girls bank on you thinking this way. They exist solely because they feed on your views, and as long as they get you to click on their link via misleading thumbnails, they have you. Hate the game, not the player.
Of course, video anomalies exist — like that girl who posted a video of her fucking her dog to Facebook (I am going to get months of articles off that one incident). And now, because one thing happened one time, we are all forever doomed to endlessly troll bullshit “sexy” videos with the false hope that we might get to see something equally as faptastic as a girl rutting with a canine. We are all the “Flying Dutchman” of YouTube.

4. The “Safe For Work” Provision

People who look at “traditional” pornography are “seedy.” People who look at attractive girls shaking their thong-covered asses to Mystikal songs on YouTube are worldly bon vivants with an elan for the burlesque. Or so the thinking seems to go. It is like people who say “frick” instead of “fuck.” Who do you think you’re fooling? In regards to sexy time, the reality is that you can’t just dip your toe into the whirlpool of lust. I hate to get all “preachy” on you, but if you watch sexy YouTube videos at work solely for the reason that they won’t raise the suspicions of the IT guys, well, I feel sad for your mother. Because she raised a coward.

3. The “My Imagination Will Fill in the Rest” Theory

A bikini is basically a bra and panties (if reading this out loud, please do not pronounce bra as “brar” like you’re from goddamn Minnesota or something) that girls can wear in public. A bra and panties is one step above being naked. So when a girl does a video in a bikini, automatically your brain dips into the considerable database of nude images and filters through them to find comparably-sized bare breasts that you can mentally substitute in like you have X-ray vision. Particularly helpful is if the girl has “pokies” (I am so ashamed to have to write that word — I vastly prefer the more scientific “nippertinos”) so you can factor nipple size and location into your mental algorithm.
Sure, it would be far less effort to actually just go look at some pornography, but there are two other important factors at play here. This article reads like a giant cultivated equation for why you and I click what we do. So read on to find out the remaining integers.

2. The “Nip Slip” Postulate

In a fast-moving medium like self-posted internet videos, the propensity for “accidents” is high. And a nipple earned is twice as erotic as a nipple given. Sure, you could just go look at porn, but everyone can do that. I remember when I was young, I had a huge collection of music CDs — hundreds of them. But then Napster came around and I suddenly didn’t give a damn about music anymore. See, it was common and accessible to everyone. Something isn’t special if anyone can get it. My music collection gave me value (perceived value rather than actual value, but I didn’t know that at the time). This is why “celebrity porn” is so much more popular than normal porn — because it is accidental and forbidden (except when it’s not). Those Scarlett Johansson pics are nowhere near as good a quality as standard fare pornography, but the creepy voyeur in us values them more. The same goes for provocative YouTube channels — their goal is to merely titillate us — but if we catch something that they posted unaware — we win.

1. The “Girl Next Door” Complex

It’s no surprise that “Jenna Marbles” is the fourth most-subscribed to channel on YouTube, and that Miss Marbles (damn, how Victorian-era naughty sounding) has achieved said prestige with fewer video uploads than anyone surrounding her. She’s “internet hot.” It’s a relative proximity thing, of course (the same thing that made Katherine Webb appear attractive in the stands at the BCS National Championship Game), but what elevates her so much is that she is “spunky” and “fun” and “just one of the guys” (but, you know, that really pretty guy in your group that you totally want to bang). See, Jenna is “fun-lovin’” and “cool” in a way that porn girls aren’t. She gives off that vibe that you can totally hang out with her, and that if you go to her pool party, she might get zonked on tequila and fuck Steve Wasserman in the pool. And you might just get to watch.
Girls with YouTube channels frequently have that Mary Ann (but a Ginger in the bedroom) vibe that we are all apparently seeking in a mate. And since there aren’t enough of those running around for all of us, we deify the ones we find online.

Professor Accidentally Leaves Projector On While Watching Porn During Class

Surfing porn sites at work is always tricky business, but probably never more so than when you're a university professor checking out PornHub inside a classroom on a computer that's hooked up to a working projector.
A daredevil professor at Wageningen University in The Netherlands figured that finding that perfect skin flick for later was worth that risk, and proceeded to visit the X-rated video site on the same computer he had just used to lecture a class full of students on Advanced Food Chemistry.
With the blood having rushed away from his cranium in a hurry, the professor, who was visiting from Belgium's Ghent University, apparently forgot to disconnect the computer from the overhead projector.
Though the classroom was empty at the time, students viewing the lecture online were able to learn more about their professor's porn tastes than they likely expected.
A screengrab of the extracurricular activity was brought to the attention of university officials, and the professor was asked to leave.
His afterschool activities notwithstanding, students spoke well of the professor, telling a local tabloid he was "an excellent teacher."
(And for the record, this is what he was watching when he got busted.)

The Walking Dead’s Laurie Holden on Sex Scenes, Thongs, and Angry Fans

Like Sarah Wayne Callies before her, Laurie Holden has taken a beating from all corners of The Walking Dead fan base, the most vocal of whom can never seem to find a reason to root for any of the show’s women. “I’ve heard it from all over,” says a frustrated Holden, whose character Andrea spent the first half of this season sleeping with the Governor while blissfully unaware of his homicidal tendencies. “I always want to tell them to be patient! It’s complicated storytelling,” she said. “Of course they’re angry that this woman who they were all rooting for at the end of season two, beloved in the comic books, fell for the sociopathic villain of the piece.” Fortunately for the actress, Andrea learned the truth in last night’s episode and came pretty close to what some might call redeeming the character. Vulture spoke to Holden about dealing with the show’s angrier fans, their complaints about her sexy underwear, and what she thinks of showrunner Glen Mazzara’s abrupt exit.

What have you been hearing from fans about Andrea and the Governor? They’ll be like, “You need to get away from that guy.” And I’ll go, “Okay, I know, I know.” I’ve heard it all. I hear it at the gas station, I hear it at the Coffee Bean. I hear it walking down the street and through friends of friends.

It’s not as though the Governor [played by David Morrissey] isn’t a sexy guy. He is!He is pretty charming. There’s a few things people don’t seem to understand: Andrea did not know what the audience has known. People will say, “Yes, but he kept Penny in a closet.” And I say, “Well, Hershel kept his wife and family in a barn. Andrea sat over her dead sister for two days.” The rules have changed. Everyone’s grieving and there are those people who still believe the human soul is still trapped in these monsters.

Why do you think Andrea didn’t kill the Governor at the end of the episode? Aside from the fact that we’ve got several more episodes to go this season. To clarify, it has nothing to do with love. Andrea was a human-rights lawyer prior to the apocalypse. She has killed a lot of zombies. She has never, ever killed a human being. And it’s one thing to kill someone in self-defense; it’s another to kill them while they’re sleeping. And then there’s Dale, who was a huge influence in Andrea’s life. He’s like her guardian angel, and I think that every step Andrea takes, she’s always thinking about honoring Dale, whose thing was “You just don’t kill people.” As a former lawyer, you’re going to see her try for reason and peace and no bloodshed.

I did love how Carol just came out and said Andrea needed to give the Governor the best night of his life so she could kill him in his sleep. That was fantastic. [Laughs.] Carol’s got some great zingers this year.

I laughed, in a good way. Was it funny to hear it at the table read?Well, we don’t have table reads anymore because the scripts are fast and furious, and we just kind of get them and run. But I remember that my reaction to reading it in the script was shell-shocked, which is kind of Andrea’s reaction, too. First of all, look who’s saying it.

Right.Like, wow, she’s changed. But also, that’s a tall order. I’m sure fans are furious that I didn’t. [Laughs.]

Andrea has pretty much been the star of her own show in Woodbury. What was it like being separated from the other regulars?I missed them, but we’re very close off set, so I actually was able to have more fun with them. We were just excited to see each other on the weekends and at dinners. We’d also have these little wars in the makeup trailer. I’d put up a picture of me and the Governor and they’d write on it, mean things that I cannot even repeat in this interview, but we’d basically communicate through the mirrors in the makeup and hair trailers. When the honeymoon was over in Woodbury, I did definitely want to get back to the prison. It was like life imitating art.

Including in last night’s episode, you’ve had to get naked for a few intimate scenes with the Governor. What are the challenges that come with that? It’s not like True Blood, where everyone loses their clothes at some point.
They talked to me beforehand because I’ve never … well, I can’t say never, but I haven’t done anything like that in a long time.
And it was really risky for the show because, you’re right, we don’t do that on The Walking Dead. But Mazzara brought up a good point, which is, you know, people have sex. You can kill zombies and show all this brutality, but where are all the people hooking up? Because that’s what they would do.

It’s true. It’s so true. So I think it was shocking, but it’s also realistic because at the end of the day, when the world is falling apart, you would seek comfort in someone else’s arm.

Were you comfortable?I felt comfortable in the sense that David is a perfect gentleman and the crew, they’re like my brothers, so I didn’t feel like anybody was gawking at me. But you know, I’m not going to lie. I’m a woman. It’s a little daunting to know you’re going to take off your clothes and 16 million people are going to see it. It’s not a normal day at the office.

The ratings are huge.So huge! But here’s another example of how you cannot win on this show! So many people have asked me about Andrea’s thong, like they had a problem with it.

What do they ask about the thong? They’re like, “How did you get a thong?” To which I’ll say, “I’m in Woodbury. They probably raided Neiman Marcus or wherever.” But if I had worn granny panties with holes in it, I just know the backlash on the Internet would have been through the roof. You’re upset about a thong? Think about the alternative.

How did you feel about the news that you guys were getting a new showrunner? Again!I’m not really at liberty to talk about that, but I can say that I think that Glen will be happier on a different show. And I think we’re also in excellent hands with Scott Gimple, who is a very creative person with wonderful ideas. I think everyone’s going to be okay.

But was there a feeling of “Here we go again,” another period of readjustment? This is the second time this has happened, and yeah, hopefully the third time’s the charm. I won’t lie: It’s very upsetting when the captain of the ship leaves and then there’s a new one. But the beauty of our show is that the actors and the crew, everyone is so dedicated and so good at what they do that I think it’ll be around for a long time.

Close-up: Nudity's role in dance laid bare

Nudity in dance 1

February 25, 2013 | Alisa Reznick
The stage is specific in its dimness; for a moment everything is contained in a single collection of elbows, hips, and fingers — I’m sitting in the back row but can see every pore of the skin on her shoulders as she moves in and out of the light. The delicate muscles of her back arch and contour.

She turns around, and the audience is faced with something many would find jarring. Like the nine other dancers performing in Compagnie Marie Chouinard’s “Rite of Spring,” she’s topless.

The word naked is not something one would expect to use when recounting a dance piece. After all, it’s difficult to imagine “The Nutcracker” or “Swan Lake” being performed in tutus and bare chests.

But like all art forms, dance is transforming. According to Cheryl Delostrinos, a UW senior and dance major, nudity is not so uncommon in modern work. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

“I’m really surprised if I go to a modern show and I don’t see nudity,” Delostrinos said. “I think that’s only started to occur in the last few years.”

Chouinard’s performance and others like it indisputably blur the line between sexuality and art. In the gray area between strip clubs and fine art, nude dance works create a whole new genre.

Of course, the inclusion of nudity drastically changes a performance. For those outside of the dance world, topless women would more readily be placed in a strip club than on a performance stage. So, what separates nudity in dance from nudity in a strip club?

Gerard Reyes has been a dancer with Chouinard for the last six years. As he explained it, the concept behind the partial nudity is quite simple for company founder and namesake, Marie Chouinard: The body is like a moving sculpture, and you wouldn’t throw a cloak over Venus. Nude work, he said, is a completely different aesthetic.

“Marie has said that she loves the body in movement, and the clothed body is read very differently from the naked one,” Reyes said. “You need to able to appreciate it in all its glory — why cover it when it’s already beautiful the way it is?”

Reyes said much of Chouinard’s work was influenced by Greek sculpture and mythology — viewing the unclothed body was true to the form.

Of course, such a choice changes the entire nature of the piece. For many, nudity and sexuality are inherently related — and using it in a dance piece makes it, well, sexual.

Nudity can convey a number of different themes. But Reyes thought when it came to dance, there was a certain eroticism regardless of presence, or lack, of clothing.

“In reality, dance is kind of about sex, anyway,” Reyes said. “It very much references sex in our minds because we’re not used to moving in our daily lives the way you see dancers move on stage.”

It’s there, he said, but sexuality isn’t necessarily the point of the piece itself — while the women are topless in the “Rite of Spring,” for example, it’s not the focus of the work. In order to verge on the pornographic, Reyes thought the intent would need to change.

In “Rite of Spring,” Chouinard was exploring more than just sexuality, where the pornographic realm lacks such deeper purpose, he said.

“The women are half naked in our piece, but the topic is not their breasts,” Reyes said. “[Pornography is] without any deeper experience or musing.”

Similarly, for photographer and choreographer Juniper Shuey, the stakes involved in a nude piece are dependent on countless other factors — the person, the lighting, the dancer’s interaction, and everything else that’s happening on stage.

Shuey said he chooses nudity very carefully in his work, as there’s a difference between tasteful nudity and exhibitionism.

“I don’t like when people are naked just for shock value,” Shuey said. “It shouldn’t be about the audience seeing them in that way.”

Shuey said his photography and choreography approach nudity differently. The experiences are inherently separate because dance involves movement.

“In photography, it’s all about the pose whereas if it’s a dance piece, there are ways that you move between positions that could be sexual,” Shuey said. “I think it’s ultimately about the purpose.”

Like Shuey’s photography and choreography, the differences between nude art and nude dance are vast. While one is the emulated form, the other is the rawest form. It’s the reality of the human body without a curtain, and it’s unlike any other art form.

When UW Assistant Dance Professor Jurg Koch began performing in a piece a few years ago, the prospect of being nude on stage was rather daunting.

“I had to trust the choreographer in the making of the choice [of nudity]. I want to understand why I would do it and who I am when I’m out there,” Koch said. “My partner later told me I blushed on my back.”

Koch’s apprehension illustrates an important distinction of performance work that separates it from other art forms — distance.

Ultimately, it’s the distance between the nude person and the viewer that separates dance from other art forms. When it’s performed on stage, that distance is nearly nonexistent.

“There’s inherent distance [in] oil or marble, it’s not the living person,” Koch said. “There’s much less artistic distance [in dance], and I think that’s what makes a performance so visceral for people.”

But dancers going bare is only a progression of something that’s been happening in dance for a long time. Even classical ballet has historically moved toward progressively showing more skin — like the transition from the long skirt to the tutu.

Koch thought that even while clothed, much of the purpose of dance is to showcase the movement of the body. Consider the leotard.

“When you think of ballet, a lot has gone into revealing as much of the body as possible without seeing it nude,” Koch said.

The leotard, fit tightly to the body and covering only the essential, is about as near to nude as one can get without actually being nude. Still, Koch said going completely bare is something else entirely. It conveys sexuality but also vulnerability and intimacy.

Maybe it’s best to think of the leotard like the figure drawing. Both are suggestions to the unclothed body, placeholders of sorts. When presented with the real form, the audience and the performers are faced with their own questions of sexuality and nudity. But instead of viewing the body on a television screen, behind a frame or clothed by a leotard, the form is unmasked. To Reyes, sexuality and dance are as inseparable as nudity and eroticism. So where is the line between sexuality and art?

Perhaps there isn’t one.

Vikingsdebuts March 3 on HISTORY

Vikings Travis Fimmel
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) in a scene from “Vikings”
The nine-part scripted series “Vikings,” starring Travis Fimmel, Gabriel Byrne, Gustaf Skarsgard and Jessalyn Gilsig, premieres at 9 p.m. Sunday, March 3, on HISTORY.

Details on “Vikings,” provided by HISTORY, are as follows:

The word “Viking” has been synonymous with brutality, terror, and mystery ever since the first Norse warriors appeared along the coasts of England and France at the end of the eighth century. Their notoriety for barbarianism without pity was an important part of the mythology that grew up around them. And while Vikings are still characterized as such in popular culture, the reality is much more complex, visceral, and powerful than their reputation suggests.

The extraordinary tales of the lives and epic adventures of these warriors are told in “Vikings.” The drama portrays the world of these Dark Age raiders, traders, explorers not from an outsider’s view, but, through the eyes of Viking society.

While “Vikings” is filled with conflict, warfare and bloodshed, for these were extreme times it is a family saga at heart. It follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel, The Beast, Baytown Outlaws), a curious, compelling  man who is always looking to break through barriers and discover new worlds to conquer. A young farmer and family man, Ragnar is deeply frustrated by the unadventurous policies of his local chieftain, Earl Haraldson (Gabriel Byrne, In Treatment, Usual Suspects, Millers Crossing), who continues to send his Vikings raiders east every summer, to the Baltic states and Russia, whose populations are as materially poor as themselves.

“Vikings” will chart Ragnar’s ambitions to discover civilizations across the great ocean to the west as well as his inevitable conflicts along the way. With the help of his jester friend Floki, (Gustaf Skarsgard, The Way Back), they build a new generation of boats faster, sleeker and more beautifully crafted than anything else on the sea.

The series will also delve into how the Vikings – the last pagans - worshipped ancient gods like Odin, Thor, Freya and Loki. Ragnar claims to be a direct descendant of the Norse god Odin, who, as well as being the god of warriors slain in battle, is also the god of curiosity.

Joining Fimmel, Byrne and Skarsgard are Katheryn Winnick (Bones, Love and Other Drugs, The Black Marks) as Lagertha, a fierce shield maiden and Ragnar’s wife; Jessalyn Gilsig (Glee, Heroes, Nip/Tuck, Friday Night Lights) as Siggy, Earl Haraldson¹s beautiful wife; George Blagden (Les Miserables, Wrath of the Titans) as Athelstan, a young, innocent Christian monk captured by Ragnar on his first raid on England and Clive Standen (Camelot, Robin Hood) as Rollo, Ragnar¹s impulsive, wild, care-free brother.

Created and written by Michael Hirst , one of the premier historical storytellers in the industry (Academy-Award winning film Elizabeth; and the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated series The Tudors), Michael serves as Executive Producer along with Morgan O’Sullivan of World 2000 (The Count of Monte Cristo; The Tudors), John Weber of Take 5 Productions (The Tudors; The Borgias), Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer, James Flynn (The Tudors; The Borgias) and Sheila Hockin (The Tudors; The Borgias). Dirk Hoogstra and Julian P. Hobbs are the Executives in Charge of Production for HISTORY.

Rigodon

Philippines
Contemporary drama
2012, colour, 16:9, 91 mins (director's cut)
Directed by Erik Matti

Rigodon

By Derek Elley
Tue, 26 February 2013, 09:30 AM (HKT)

Well-played, coolly observed relationships triangle that pretty much stays on course. Festivals and Asian events.

Story

Manila, the present day. Depressed after her father (Dante Ornedo) has scared off her boyfriend Paolo (Carlo Cruz) with his aggressive attitude, office worker Sarah Dilag (Yam Concepcion) meets Filipino-American Riki Torres (John James Uy), 31, a wannabe actor who became known for appearing on reality show Star Factor but has been working for the past three years as a presenter for shopping channel Phoenix Telemarketing. Sarah moves out of her family's home and into a flat of her own, and starts dating Riki. After dinner one evening, she brings him back and tries to seduce him. Riki initially resists, saying virgins are "too clingy", but finally stays the night. What Sarah doesn't know is that Riki has a wife, Regine (Max Eigenmann), and a young daughter, Pammy (Amanda Lopez). In debt and barely scraping by financially, Riki keeps promising Regine, who is emotionally unstable and occupies her time trying to sell home-made cupcakes, that his big break is just around the corner. He keeps seeing Sarah, who becomes more and more attached to him, while repeatedly forgetting to pick up his daughter from school. As Riki unsuccessfully tries to get work from a gay director acquaintance (Vicente Garcia Groyon) and to get a salary increase from Phoenix, the pressures mount on him. Then, Sarah, now very clingy, arranges for him to meet her father over dinner at her flat.

Review

After the big-budget, men-and-monsters fantasy Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles (the first Filipino feature entirely shot on green screen), maverick Filipino director Erik MATTI abruptly changes gears yet again with Rigodon, a modest relationships drama released only a month later. Co-written by Dwight GASTON, who's worked on some of Matti's best movies (superhero spoof Gagamboy (2003), offbeat ghost story Pa-siyam (2004), gentle comedy of manners The Arrival (2009)), it's a regular tale of infidelity that's raised above the norm by careful direction and neatly calibrated performances by its three leads. Though the ending reveals its roots in regular melodrama, Rigodon — a Tagalog word for a quadrille-like formal dance — otherwise remains on course, Matti's most "mature" movie to date.
Locally the movie attracted a lot of ink for its three sex scenes, each shot in a single take and, though hardly explicit except for some toplessness, carrying a realistic erotic charge. (A trimmed R-16 version was released day-and-date with the R-18 director's cut.) Like Matti's best-known film internationally, Prosti (2002), featuring Aubrey MILES, Rigodon is a fine showcase for its lead actress, here 23-year-old newcomer Yam CONCEPCION, formerly a drummer in band Ursa Minor. Concepcion moves between the sex scenes and more everyday ones with a natural ease, maintaining a sense of intimacy and physical attraction with her character's duplicitous lover as well as reminding the viewer of her own emotional investment without overplaying a "clingy virgin". The chemistry between her and actor-model John James UY (also in his first movie) is tangible, as is Uy's with TV actress Max EIGENMANN, playing his unstable wife. That's a tribute to Uy's ability to play an actor who is never "off-screen", even in his private life, but still engenders some sympathy from the viewer.
The performances and Matti's cool, well-composed direction impressively build a sense of escalating tragedy as the two leads embark on a relationship that's clearly doomed, largely because the husband (who also has a young daughter) is in an impossible situation. In a similar way, thanks to Eigenmann's subtle playing, there's a growing sense of the wife's unease, even though she has no tangible evidence of anything wrong in her marriage. Malek LOPEZ's quiet piano score, full of tinkly dissonances, is a big assist throughout.
The final act is a little bumpy as it brings together the emotional threads as well as an underworld subplot, and Concepcion's role loses some momentum as the script focuses more on the husband-and-wife story. However, after a briefly melodramatic finale, which seems out-of-kilter with Concepcion's character (especially as she's been somewhat sidelined), the film recovers its initial tone with a tense, open-ended sequence that seems just right in the circumstances.
Version reviewed is the R-18 director's cut, 30 seconds longer than the R-16 version. The film is not to be confused with a 2005 feature of the same name, about three Filipino immigrants in New York.

Today I'm focusing on couple of starlets with tremendous potential to be future cult favorites among nudity lovers. Both Allison Scagliotti and Caitlin Wachs starred together in Endless Bummer back in 2009 being re-released soon as National Lampoon Presents: Surf Party with some new extra scenes(?).
imagebam.com
22-years old Allison is more secured than Caitlin in her present career with a memorable turn on Warehouse 13. Playing nerdy and at same time pretty tough and resourceful girl comes easy for her. Loves to be in charge and will lend a helping hand in making sure everything run smoothly. As Allison recently did with Chastity Bites . The horror movie with top notch special effects is - unfortunately - still seeking distribution. I personally don't expect any nude scenes in Chastity Bites but the female cast is super attractive including a very fetching Francis Raisa.
Sarah Stouffer (BRITNEY), Amy Okuda (ASHLEY), Chloe-Charlotte Crampton (KELLY) and Lindsey Morgan (NOEMI)
Louise Griffiths as LIZ BATHO, abstinence educator.
While it's unlikely Allison will take her top off anytime soon, her co-star Caitlin Wachs is struggling to get back into acting loop after taking few years off to major in Theater Arts. 23-years old former child artist is far more liberal minded attributable to her pro-am experience on the stage last few years which introduced her to a new level of performing arts like never before and appreciate the seriousness of the craft. Claims on her twitter she been busy with work so we have to wait and see if it was true or just hogwash. Like some actresses who takes time off for college or goes on a sabbatical, Caitlin needs to shock the right people into looking at her again, to be amazed they're seeing a young and attractive actress rather than a teeny-bopper and for serious offers to flow her way. What kind of role or performance entails that kind of reaction? Hmmm...Caitlin best bet for now is to audition for a spot or better a recurring role on a cable show.

Miss Delaware Teen USA resigns amid sex video claims

Miss Delaware Teen USA Melissa King resigned her crown today after facing questions about an online sex video whose title claims to star her.

“I would like to confirm to you that the Miss Delaware Teen USA pageant has received a resignation letter from Miss King’s attorney,” pageant spokeswoman Dara Busch wrote in an e-mail this morning.

A porn website posted a sex video Monday featuring a woman who looks and sounds like King and claiming it is the teen pageant winner. King, contacted Monday, said she was aware of it, but denied it was her.

“Absolutely not,” she said. “It is not.”

King, who was crowned Miss Delaware Teen USA last year, also said she had a lawyer but declined to provide the attorney’s name. A comment would be forthcoming, she said.

Of the porn site’s claim, she said, “There are comments saying this, however, it’s not comments that are true.”

An email sent Monday night seeking comment from the website distributing the video was not answered.

Busch, who is executive vice president and managing director with Rubenstein Public Relations, did not say what the next step would be to replace King.

The video, an amateur recording running just over five minutes, starts with an interview on what appears to be a hotel bed. The woman does not give her name. But when the man, who is not shown or identified, interviewing her asks when she turned 18, she says “about three months ago. March.”

King’s birthday is in March, according to the Miss Delaware Teen USA website.

The interviewer then asks her what made her want to do her first adult video.

“I thought it be fun and I needed the money,” the woman says. “So I just decided to do it.”

The interviewer continues to ask her more questions, including if she had a boyfriend, when was the last time she had sex and how old she was the first time she had sex. The woman laughs a little as she answers the questions.

That portion of the interview fades into another set of questions where the interviewer asks her about being a “Miss. A Miss Teen?”

When the woman acts reluctant to talk about it, he says “I’m not going to say the state or anything. ... You did beauty pageants?”

“I’ve done them, yes,” she responds.

While King won the Miss Delaware Teen USA title in November, at the time this video was shot she was the reigning Miss Teen Delaware International 2012.

The interviewer then asks her if she has told anyone about doing this video, to which the woman replies: “It’s not a big secret. But I didn’t tell anybody specifically what I was doing.”Following the interview, the woman and a man, whose face is never seen, perform several different sex acts.

* I can say right now my friend B.Sampson and I have been looking for her real ID since she first appeared on the porn site. It was Sampson who provided the initial link but was hesitant about posting it here but as the resident douche, I was quick to upload it without waiting for his reply.
Melissa was exposed the moment she won the teen title recently. Melissa was naive due to her tender age; incognizant of the consequences  in sucking a cock on-cam will have on her private and public life. Now everything has gone haywire. Will she recover? Sadly no. Why did she do it? Like she mentioned in the scene - for money. Probably related to her boyfriend. It usually goes like that. Other possible reasons include well-hidden dependencies and substance issues. The pressure of being a role model all her life, overbearing expectations from parents. Sustaining the image of good girl with great grades, maintaining the facade of disciplined uniformity in daily life....it all came together for Melissa in very bad concoction that led her to that bedroom in San Diego. Pierre Woodman the French pornographer was right. Sometimes good girls rebels big time. But I did told you guys about new breed of beauty queens, didn't I? This is just the beginning...

Melissa King – Miss Teen Delaware 2013 Did Porn of the Day

Her name is Melissa King….She is Miss Teen Delaware 2013….I didn’t bother reading her bio ….but I did watch this video of her talking about being in foster care and how hard it is to make money for gymnastics…..

Which I guess is why she did this porn…..you know broken home, need for money, craving fame, hoping a scandal that propels her to the mainstream like she was Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian….because girls these days don’t view porn the same as they once did…..they figure it’s an easy way to get noticed and make moves and one day star on a reality show….
Porn may not have the same stigma and more and more young hot girls may all wanna be porn famous…cuz they wanna compete with the girls the guys they like jerk off to….but I still love watching them perform…so I say thank god for that….and thank god for Miss Teen Delaware not doing their background checks…cuz she was doing porn in June, 3 months after turning 18, and 5 months before being crowned….hilarious…..making me think she’s more a porn chick using beauty pageants to get publicity….and not the other way around…..

* The GirlsDoPorn dudes should enjoy the sudden surge in hits and profile while it lasts. Girls looking to explore their sexuality on-cam will turn elsewhere much more discreet. GDP pays well and the male talent is young, in shape and good-looking but is it worth it for the girls to sacrifice their future for an hour of cock and cum. That guy at Backroom Casting Couch has resorted to cast hookers from sugar daddy sites after many of the 'normal' girls were outed in recent years.

Miss Delaware Teen USA Resigns After Porn Video Surfaces

Melissa King, who was crowned Miss Delaware Teen USA in November, reportedly resigned from her post today amid claims that she appeared in a pornographic movie shortly after her 18th birthday last year.
Gawker received an anonymous tip this morning that said a video originally found on the "real amateur girls" website GirlsDoPorn.com (NSFW, obviously) starred King. In the clip, a woman who resembles King says that she turned 18 three months ago—"In March"—before telling an off-camera interviewer that she decided to go into porn because she needed the money. The woman then says she participates in beauty pageants, though she doesn't reveal in which state she competes.

In a brief phone call with Gawker, the Miss Teen Delaware USA Appearance Coordinator, Elaine Paolo, would neither confirm nor deny that King has stepped down, saying she "needed more details." But if it is indeed King in the video, she would have made the GirlsDoPorn.com appearance around the time she won Miss Teen Delaware International 2012, the title she held immediately before winning Miss Teen Delaware USA.

In this video, an excerpt from a documentary about foster care in Delaware, King, having recently been crowned Miss Teen Delaware International, discusses her rise to pageant success after having been a foster kid from age 12 to age 18. King notes that depression and anxiety are common for foster children, adding that financial hardships made just being a normal teenager a struggle for her at times. As Miss Delaware Teen USA, King had vowed to dedicate some of her volunteer efforts to working with other foster children.
If her very recent social-media presence is any indication, it would appear that King had an inkling that her past was coming back to bite at her present. She tweeted this three days ago:

Julianne and Derek Hough Prep Starz Ballroom Dancing Drama (Exclusive)

The brother-sister pair tell THR that "Blackpool" will explore the darker side of ballroom dancing.

Derek Hough Julianne Hough InStyle Arrivals - P 2013Julianne and Derek Hough are telling tales from the hidden side of the dancing world.
The brother-sister pair is developing a Starz scripted drama set in the world of competitive ballroom dancing, for which they will draw on years of first-hand experiences as competitors at the world-championship level. Titled Blackpool, the drama effort will revolve around the prestigious annual ballroom competition in Blackpool, England, with a focus on the darker side of ballroom dancing.

“When you’re in the world, you’re so invested. It’s literally the be-all and end-all. But when you step back from it, you see that obsession with perfection and the fact that the lifestyle that you thought was so glamorous is actually a little shocking,” Julianne Hough says in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The comment comes mere weeks after Hough revealed in a Cosmopolitan cover story that she was a victim of physical and emotional abuse as a young dancer living in England.

Her brother, who appears on Dancing With the Stars, one of the many TV series that have capitalized on the interest in the dancing genre in recent years, makes clear that the series will push into hidden areas of the sport. “What makes it so interesting is seeing all of the politics and the scandal," says Derek Hough. "It’s framed in the world of ballroom dancing, but the stories that are intertwined are of the partnerships and the sex and the love triangles."

In addition to lending their own tales from the ultra-competitive world, the pair will serve as executive producers on the project as well as the head choreographers. At this time, they have no plans to appear onscreen, though they do intend to be actively involved in the process of hiring and casting. Julianne, currently on an international press tour for her film Safe Haven, notes that she is meeting with potential writers in London.

The siblings say that this drama is something that they have toyed with bringing to the small screen for some time. They shopped it to a handful of networks, but they say that they were particularly struck by Starz CEO Chris Albrecht’s passion for it in the room. And while they have a deep well from which to draw, they don't intend to make this a purely autobiographical tale. “We definitely want it to be fictionalized,” says Julianne. “We’re going to start with our experiences in the world and stories that we’ve either seen or gone through, but it'll be fun to be able to elaborate and fictionalize these characters."

It is worth noting that Starz -- still best known as a male-centric network -- is also developing a drama set in the world of ballet dancing from Pulp Fiction's Lawrence Bender and Breaking Bad co-executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett. The untitled female-driven entry will center on a young ballet dancer named Claire with a troubled past who joins a ballet company in New York. The project, which is similarly billed as dark and gritty, will explore the dysfunctional underbelly of the ballet world.

Elsewhere in the premium cable network's development pipeline is a 1960s crime drama from The Departed's William Monahan; a sci-fi action thriller titled Incursion from SpartacusSteven S. DeKnight; a potential Spartacus spinoff; and Turf, a drama about the birth of hip-hop from Patrick Macmanus.

Julianne, whose other on-screen credits include FootlooseRock of Ages and the upcoming Diablo Cody film Paradise, is repped by CAA and Azoff, Geary, Paul, Smith Management; Derek, the only three-time champion in Dancing With the Stars' history, is repped by UTA and The Collective.

* knowing Mr. Albrecht modus operandi, he will choose the one with numerous sex/nude scenes - implied or otherwise specified in the pilot script. You can take that to the bank. Nudity will be required of all cast members in a series slanted towards romance and sex and without violent content. That's how STARZ operates. Selling point for subscribers, baby. That's why network stations rejected the siblings initial script. It must been similar to Magic City. Too conventional plot-wise for network but add sex and nudity - perfect for premium cable. I bet the Hough siblings will be the losers what with their Mormonic background and aversion to explicit on-screen sexual depiction. Unless cheeky Chris suggest Julianne do the lead role so he (and we) can enjoy her dancing and prancing around naked (probably not at the same time). By the way, keep an eye out for the casting of Claire in Bender/Walley-Beckett production. Nudity is on the table, not above 30 and someone with dancing experience. I won't rule out former Disney/Nickelodeon starlets. In my opinion, Mary Elizabeth Winstead should audition for the role.
