I posted below that Cinemax version of Melissa George's Hunted will be much more raunchier. The Brits employed Emma Oxley to edit a much more sanitized episodes while it's Roy C. Poole for US-release . It seems I was wrong with the latter part. Someone involved with the HBO/Cinemax productions contacted me. In their own words:
It's true the Cinemax versions have more sexual content and violence but no, each block shot had the same editor. We had to cut two versions : one for the BBC and one for HBO. They would start with the same film but their notes would differ, they always had in mind to have two versions. Also the HBO version is shorter in duration and have the stronger sex scenes, which actually helps Sam's journey, you understand her more...
