So the news today seems to be telling me that Marvel is in the process of developing a tv show based off the universe that their movies are set in. Surprisingly I really do think this is a great idea. Comics have always been based off weekly books (for the most part). The idea of doing a television show off, to me, really lends itself to what comic books are a lot better than trying to cram all kinds of stuff into a 2 hour movie. This isn't really new anymore, The Walking Dead has become more popular than I think anyone could have imagined and we are getting a show based off of Green Arrow this fall so the powers that be seem to have a grasp on this, let's just hope Marvel gets this right and we do not see another tv series like when Spike tried to make Blade work with Sticky Fingaz (Source)
