Silly - The Convention Song - My Little Pony Fandom

It's amazing what fans can do. A hardcore My Little Pony fan decided to get together with a bunch of fans and sang this HILARIOUS song about CONVENTIONS. As reported from io9

"Griffin Lewis and Jenny Nicholson wrote this song for last weekend's Canterlot Gardens. It's an amazingly well executed piece based on the Stephen Sondheim-inspired "At the Gala" musical sequence from the episode "Best Night Ever." Nicholson herself does the voices of all six central ponies, with other folks chipping in as the chorus (which takes everyone down a peg with a bit of gentle mocking). And each pony's convention expectations perfectly fit her personality. Now if only there was a press person pony who could sing about cosplay photo safaris and the joys of sleep deprivation."

I'm not a Pony fan but this song just takes the cake and describes EVERYTHING about the con going experience

Yeah so Halloween is at the end of the month and people who don't usually cosplay decide to wear something to a costume party... and 'claim' they're cosplaying

Halloween outfits are in no way near to the quality of proper cosplay and I understand regular folk want to wear affordable costumes to parties, which is fine by me but yeah, what joo pay is what joo get.

Crazy! - Pamyu Pamyu's Fashion Monster Music Video!

I saw a Japanese friend stuck this up on her facebook and was curious. It's SO AWESOME I can't even describe it. This would definitely be a fun one to cosplay if you get a team together. I love how everything in Japan is just cute. Even Halloween stuff.




Pamyu Pamyu is quite a famous pop idol in Japan at the moment known for her extremely surreal music videos and cutesy vocals (see Pon Pon Pon below)

Oppa Dragon Con! - Cosplayers do 'Gangnam Style'

If you haven't seen Korean pop sensation's 'Gangnam Style', you really HAVE been living under a rock for the past month!

Dragon Con ended 2 weeks ago but hey, the convention high doesn't end even though the con's over.

I don't feel like writing anything too serious today. I'll just keep typing into this laptop to fill up the space in my head that creeps and crawls. I have plenty to say, too much in fact. But it's not going on the Internet. Sorry but my ever so interesting life story is not something I'll put on here. I know all about tearing my heart out and wearing it on my sleeve for complete strangers. I'm the master of TMI ("too much information") and I ramble as bad in conversation as I do online. But the person I am changes too fast to even keep track of anymore these days. I will say this though: for someone so young I've lived a rather full and complex life. Even though I've barely lived at all I could die with a smile on my face today, I've made my mark and changed cold hearts with my compassion as well as hardened hearts with my malice. I can finally view existence as something that makes sense and remembered that believing in myself is the only thing that ever made sense to me.
